HIT Workout - March 23rd

Worked out fasted, took 10 grams of BCAAs 15 minutes before the workout.  I barely got the last rep of the overhead press, taking 15 seconds of pushing in which I felt I wasn’t even moving it.  I left with my ears ringing…

 

I spent the weekend at my best friend’s house, Jeff Erno, and we discussed variations on our HIT workouts.  My trainer, Chris, liked the idea – continue the below big 6 workout every other week and allow him full control over the other weeks’ workouts.  We start next week.  Chris seemed overly excited to develop new and better ways to torture me during ‘his’ week.

Body By Science update

Body by Science has been recognized by some of the greatest thinkers today. Nassim Taleb has made mention of our approach in one Chapter of his new edition of the Black Swan. Dr. Leonard Peikoff has communicated with us about BBS exercise philosophy and is now training the BBS way. I also look forward to speaking at The 21 convention in Orlando this Summer, and I am honored to be included in a list of amazing speakers at the Ancestral Health Symposium in Los Angeles in Summer 2011. I am grateful to BBS and Ultimate Exercise for keeping me moving forward.

HIT Workout - March 4th

Lower back felt super-hard from the 1st rep – prompting my trainer to ask if I was fully recovered.  I had done some pretty vigorous snow shoveling last week, and I had felt it in my back, so perhaps I wasn’t fully recovered.  The other exercises were ok, improving in time or weight.
